Overview
The Quick Library is a tool that speeds up re-use of your most commonly used parts or assemblies and also profile sections such as extrusions and frame profiles, allowing rapid selection and placement into an assembly that is being edited in Solid Edge. New Libraries of Standard Parts, Assemblies or Section files (a short protrusion of a sketch) are easily added to the list of available sections. Properties of Library Parts are easily edited to create a readily accessible, customizable library which can draw from components anywhere on a network.
Configurations can be local or on a network location allowing one or many users.

Download your parts for free, add them to the quick library and thats it your done. A simple and robust solution for those that may only need a limited amount of parts, or for those that only want to select specific parts that are not part of a general library.

Many Users use Steel Sections. Edge plm software has created a profile set of most of the Australian Standard Steel sections. Based on the one steel library the sections are complete and ready to use with the quick Library or directly in Solid Edge. All the profiles are created to be used with the framing environment as well.
Australian Tube and Bar profiles
The revision Cloud add-in creates revision clouds in draft documents, allowing users to conform to their standards. this add-in allows internal, external and size variation of the cloud formation. Basically hit the curv buttom and a Rev cloud is formed.
